But the harvest is the end of the world. And the reapers are the angels.
Even as cockle therefore is gathered up,
and burnt with fire: so shall it be at the
end of the world.
The Son of man shall send his angels,
and they shall gather out of his kingdom
all scandals, and them that work iniquity.
And shall cast them into the furnace of
fire: there shall be weeping and gnashing
of teeth.
Then shall the just shine as the sun, in
the kingdom of their Father.
He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
After reading Christ's own simple and concise explanation, you should be able to
appreciate why we have traditionally viewed hell as a place of fiery suffering and
heaven as a place of sweetness and light. You should also understand that God
will finally and completely; rid the world of every evil.
Now, for the test
Our job, as God's good and faithful children, is to oppose evil
whenever we encounter it, to reject sin, to love God and love one
another. We are to sacrifice, but never despair, and always keep
the faith. The just will be rewarded, and God Himself will take care
of the problem of evil. We have His Word on it!
Luke 18:29 - 30
Amen, I say to you, there is no man that hath left home or
parents or brethren or wife or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, Who shall
not receive much more in this present time, and in the world to come life
everlasting.
Can you do this for a lifetime? If so, you'll likely, pass the test!
Matthew 24:13 - 14 But he that shall persevere to the end, he shall be saved. And
this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world, for a testimony
to all nations: and then shall the consummation come.
We must understand that it is possible to lose God's grace and
forfeit our place in God's Kingdom.
Consider the Hebrews, God's Chosen People: The only nation on
earth through which God chose to reveal Himself; the nation that
gave us the Bible, Mary, and the Messiah ...
