Angel in the
empty tomb
FULFILLMENT:
Matthew 27:46  And about the ninth hour, Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying:
Eli, Eli, lamma sabacthani? That is, My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken
me?
Prophecy: Supernatural darkness would accompany the crucifixion:
Amos 8:9  And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord God, that the sun
shall go down at midday, and I will make the earth dark in the day of light:
FULFILLMENT:
Mar 15:33  And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the
whole earth until the ninth hour.

Prophecy: Jesus would rise from the dead.
Psalm 16:9 - 10 Therefore my heart hath been glad,
and my tongue hath rejoiced: moreover, my flesh
also shall rest in hope. Because thou wilt not leave
my soul in hell; nor wilt thou give thy holy one to see
corruption.

Psalm 30:3  (30:4) Thou hast brought forth, O Lord,
my soul from hell: thou hast saved me from them that
go down into the pit.
Psalm 118:17  I shall not die, but live: and shall
declare the works of the Lord.

John 2:19  Jesus answered and said to them: Destroy
this temple; and in three days I will raise it up.

FULFILLMENT:
Luk 24:1 - 8  And on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they
came to the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared. And they
found the stone rolled back from the sepulchre. And going in, they found not the
body of the Lord Jesus. And it came to pass, as they were astonished in their
mind at this, behold, two men stood by them, in shining apparel.
And as they were afraid and bowed down their countenance towards the ground,
they said unto them: Why seek you the living with the dead?
He is not here, but is risen. Remember how he spoke unto you, when he was yet
in Galilee, Saying: The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful
men and be crucified and the third day rise again. And they remembered his
words.
These were just a few examples. Many prophecies were fulfilled multiple times,
(healings, casting out demons) on many occasions, others, only once (birth, death,
resurrection). Future fulfillment and dual future fulfillment is also possible.
